Esty's Besty's Eatery

What a lovely experience dining at this eatery. The lady who cooked and catered to me was great as well. I ordered the vegan shwarma that was beyond impressive and just perfect with serving size, taste, price, and presentation. You can't tell it's not chicken , quite delicious and savory. I ordered latkas to go and heated them up in my air fryer for dinner and they were phenomenal I can not wait to have them again . Beautiful menu and excellent service.

Google search brought me to Esty's Besty's and they took care of my needs and concerns for my Machatunim. Daughter's bridal shower was July 10 in Brielle and I had to find the perfect lunch for the family. The vegetable soup was hot and very tasty. The Middle Eastern Salad was huge and a big hit. For the main dish I ordered the Tilapia with potatoes and couscous for one sister and the tilapia with potatoes and green beans for the other sister. They were pleasantly surprised and so thankful for the delicious lunch. The homemade Baklava was a hit. The dessert reminded them of their bobe's. Esther was the cook and Shmuel was her bottle washer..... Kindest people and delicious food!!!

I feel bad posting this review but I haven't been able to get out of my head how bad the food was when I ate here. Literally everything was microwaved and ice cold in the center. It was unfortunate because I tried to find a good vegetarian place & the reviews seemed good, but we ended up just getting microwaved food. My french onion soup was like mucous and had no bread and like wisps of cheese in it i couldnt eat it anyway because it was ice cold in the center. My mom actually got sick from the food. I support small businesses but I think most people would rather wait a little longer than be served cold microwaved food. I think this place could be awesome if they made everything fresh.. The only thing that was good was our salads. Maybe they cook everything fresh for most people and just wanted to get us out quick since it was a table of 5- i dont know. But it jacked my stomach up and I just hope they do better so other people dont have the same experience. Everything on the menu has the potential to be really good if they cook it properly and fresh for the customers. I apologize if I hurt the owners feelings with this review but my intentions are good I just feel like my experience wasnt okay and if they just cook it all fresh they could have something great going for them.

First impressions. Place was clean. When I first walked in, I went to wash my hands. I got followed to the bathroom. The old man asked if I was ordering. Order a slice, it was extremely greasy. Also ordered a falafel platter. It was ok. Hummus was too chunky for me but atleast it had lemon in it. Tehina was not made correctly. As it had clumps in it. Falafel didn't taste fresh as the old man said it was. Definitely made hours before. Also very weird that they take a slice from the front, walk it into the back to warm it up. I asked for a fork and was told to go look for it myself. Overall wasn't bad. Food should have been warmer. Maybe you should warm up the hummus as well. I'll try again in a few months. Plating was nice.

We've eaten there about 5 times so far, all good experiences, our son goes to a local school and after parent teacher conferences this is where we head to. The food is great. We usually get the Hummus platter, last time we got the tuna wraps, both very good. I prefer it when we come at odd hours so the we get more attention from the owners (who are charming). But the service was fast even when the place was packed.
